BANNER WEEKEND FOR CLARKE'S CRUSADERS
Well Coach Chris Clarke got the Ladies of Bethesda running on all cylinders, performing phenomenally as both White and Blue won 2 games a piece over the past weekend. On Saturday, the Blues kicked off the festivities by defeating their arch nemesis SAC Classic I, 2-1 in a hardfought, but Bethesda dominated game in Columbia. Later in the day, the girls were sharp and on target as the Whites travelled up north to Hagerstown to corral Hagerstown FC 6-1.
On Sunday, the Blues freed their skilz against Freestate SC as they pounced on their Arundel County opponents early and came away with a 7-1 victory. While on the eastern front the Whites provided some impressive footballing as they pinned their ears back and took it to SAC Blue Dynamite defeating their Howard County peers 6-1.
In all four games both the Blue and White showed outstanding skill, determination, intelligent football, excitement and vibrant showmanship as they got untracked and displayed Coach Chris' concept of what TOTAL football is all about. Good job ladies.
