Well the weekend did produce a triumphant USA Women's victory over England (sorry Chris and Clarice) and some outstanding performances that would place some of the Bethesda Girls along side their US Team on the ESPN highlight reel, but the Ladies of the Blue and White came away with a tie and a loss this weekend.

Bethesda Blue travelled to Waldorf and performed magnificently in a 2-2 draw with the Waldorf SC. Clearly outplaying their opponents and dazzling the standing room only crowd with their skilz, the Blues just continue to shine and show their outstanding abilities. Great Job BB!

Bethesda White took on the mighty Baltimore Bays Angels, who have only lost one game in the past two years, and fought tooth and nail, coming up just a tad bit short in the end, 3-2. The closest game that the Angels had all season and the first time that they were ever behind in a match. Well done BW!

Both the White and Blue stepped up their games and showed that the girls can take whatever is thrown at them and still perform at a high level.
